Psychiatric and therapeutic center

Through this program it was question of imagining a project closed on the street with a defensive aspect due to the constraint of a psychiatric and therapeutic center for young and teenagers.

A series of successive wall systems, such as a series of filters capturing the landscape over the sea and hosting both introversion and projection spaces, organize all the project sequences. Indeed, the composition of the building unfolds throughout the site like an amphitheater turning towards the sea with Vesuvius in the background. He has a real desire to highlight the seaside towns and their extraordinary sites.

It was a question of using the characteristics of the site to define the parameter of the project, namely a plot 3.40 meters above the street whose perimeter is defined by an existing retaining wall. The specific structure of the place became the constructed structure of the project. By keeping this ordinary object of construction it becomes a reminder of a past state.
