Italy, and more particularly Naples, has significant know-how in the textile sector and italian spinning. Nowadays, the textile industry is forced to reinvent itself on the environmental impact of its production. I would like, through this program, to create an architecture that supports this field in its transition and its production process.

The project is located in an agricultural area. This spinning research and experimentation center is based on the wool cycle from the production of raw material, to the transformation of the material into textile, through workshops, laboratories and a material library.

The basic element is the thread of the enclosure ; the structure of the sheepfold and the research center are an extra thickness of it. The facade inside the enclosure folds to offer multiple views of the agricultural area, the sheep enclosure or is the Vesuvius.
